Some students would like to have some fun at home with clay. Here's a recipe you can make with your parents' permission.
Ingredients:
4 c. flour
2 c. salt
2 c. water
2 T oil
4 tsp. cream of tartar
Method:
1. Mix flour, salt, and cream of tartar.
2. In a separate container, add food coloring and oil to water.
3. Add liquid to flour and salt mixture.
4. Cook over low heat until very stiff.
5. Knead on floured surface.
After using, play-dough may be stored in a plastic container in the refrigerator.
Bake to preserve.
